NCF was founded by Dr. Samuel Noordhoff in 1989 for the purpose of helping congenital craniofacial patients obtain appropriate medical treatment, improving the quality of craniofacial treatment, and promoting the care of craniofacial patients in public society. The goals of NCF include:
