詳細介紹

Vietnam was the NCF's first stop as it opened its door to international collaborations. The international mission team traveled to Ho Chi Minh City in 1998, taking the first step into globalizing its services. Aside from the long term partnership with Vietnam, Taiwanese businessmen in Vietnam's extended concern for the local cleft lip and palate medical issues was a real shot in the arm for the NCF's aspiration to help local cleft lip and palate patients and their families. Whether its talent training or international cleft missions, the cleft lip and palate medical care in Vietnam has continued to grow and steadily expanded on the basis of mutual collaborations. Since 2014, the NCF and OMFH started a comprehensive cleft care project, including free cleft surgery, pre-surgical treatment, transportation subsidy, and bottles for feeding babies with clefts. More than 1000 patients from low-income families have been treated to date.
